50 Rounds of .223 Rem Ammo by Fiocchi - 55gr PSP

Out of Stock

Ammo Overview

Ammo Quantity - 50 rounds per box
Ammo Manufacturer - Fiocchi
Projectiles - 55 grain pointed soft point (PSP)
Ammo Casings - Boxer-primed brass

This 223 Rem cartridge is made by Fiocchi, and it features a 55 grain pointed soft point projectile. The bullet’s sharp meplat does indeed convey the greater accuracy that you should expect its shape to, and its exposed core at its tip means that this bullet will mushroom considerably as it makes its way through a soft target. Its jacket further prevents deformation during ignition as well as promotes reliable penetration through soft targets. A straight-flying bullet that wreaks havoc within a body -- that makes this round is a solid contender for varmint hunting, although in a self-defense scenario there’s no reason it shouldn’t hold its own.

Fiocchi has been in the ammunition game since 1876, just over a decade after the Civil War wrapped up. They’re based in Lecco, Italy, but most of the ammo they sell in America is made right here as well. This round’s brass casing is fresh out of their factory, and its propellant burns cleanly without unduly dirtying your rifle’s action.
