Go out to your garage and touch your car or truck. See what it’s made of? Steel. Cool. But did you know that steel is useful for making other things? Things such as 9mm shell cases? That’s right! And they’re way cheaper than brass shell cases, which is why Magtech Steel is all set to save you beaucoup dollaridoos the next time you put the fear of the almighty into some range targets!.
This ammo’s non-reloadable steel cases are plated in zinc. It’s pretty. More importantly, zinc shields the underlying steel against corrosion. We’re not saying this ammo can spend several years submerged in the ocean, but it is just a tad safer within normal storage conditions.
This ammo’s not like the usual cheapo steel-cased stuff you’d get from Mother Russia. Its bullets do not contain steel. They will not attract a magnet. It’s also loaded with Boxer primers – totally noncorrosive, although that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to reload this ammo’s cases. We cannot impress this on you hard enough: This ammo cannot be handloaded. (Well, technically it can, but you’d be a total silly ninny if you even tried.)

Q: I am looking for a good target/practice ammo for a M&P 9 Shield Plus. Isagtech steel 124g FMJ a good choice for this? Fairly new to firearms so always looking for advice. Thx

A: Hi Todd! Our customers have had generally favorable impressions of this ammo. It's a cut above the typical steel-cased 9mm that typically comes from Russia (Magtech ammo is made in Brazil). I'd confidently buy it for an M&P. If you want cleaner performance and a lower chance of failures to cycle, then you may instead look into Magtech's brass-cased ammo, or PMC or Prvi Partizan.
