Do you always give your 380 ACP training max effort? Then MAXXTech is the ammo for you! (But we’ll also sell you this cheap-yet-trusty ammunition even if you’re more of a slacker.)
This round’s bullet sits right in the center of the 380’s normal weight spectrum. Its 918 fps muzzle velocity is average; not due to punish you with very much recoil while you’re opening up your pistola. As an FMJ, the bullet is everything you need – and nothing you don’t need – for target practice. You would rightly wonder whether Bosnian-made ammo is loaded with magnetic bullets. Worry not. The FMJ is lead and copper alloy, just as it would be if it were made in America.
MAXXTech brass is new. MAXXTech primers contain modern, nonhygroscopic explosive which won’t cause corrosion without special cleaning. We gotta pull out the lamest, most uninspired review of this ammo possible: “It goes bang when you pull the trigger!”

This is an amendment to my earlier review of MAXXTech .380 ACP ammo.
A the range today I had 50 rounds of this ammo and had about a 20% "fail to fire" rate. Each round that did not fire was put back into the mag and each one fired the second time. Now this is not a major problem at the range, but if their defensive rounds have the same failure rate, it could be very dangerous. (Posted on 3/30/2026)

I have only had a chance to shoot twoo boxes of this ammo, but it seems like it will be a good choice.
Out of the 100 rounds I have fired, I have had two fail to fire on the first try. After reloading each one into a magazine, they fired successfully. That is the only problem that I have seen so far. I believe that these were outliers and I will not see this happen again.
These rounds shoot very cleanly and, considering the price (and the availability of .380 ACP training rounds) they are a good buy.
I will amend this review after I have gone though a few hundred more rounds. (Posted on 3/28/2026)

Found out later it's not the greatest accuracy for my model, but it's reliable and cheap as all get out.
I hear it's decently accurate in many firearms. :D (Posted on 3/16/2026)
