Details

The 44 Magnum is a fearsome cartridge. We expect you must not care dearly for anything you would fire one at. That’s why we recommend a round with a bullet that is designed to inflict accentuated damage following impact, such as this one from PMC’s reliable Bronze line of ammunition.

This round’s 240 grain bullet is a soft point. As it burrows through soft tissue, it utilizes its immense energy to deform substantially and tumble around in the process. The wound channel it inflicts in this fashion is simply devastating, especially considering the 44 Magnum’s supersonic muzzle velocity! This bullet’s truncated nose profile isn’t especially high tech – its sloping sides grant it the ability to feed smoothly as well as fly straight, and its flat tip creates a wide, clean entry hole.

PMC’s components are made from scratch and thoroughly scrutinized every step of the way. You can count on these rounds’ casings in revolver, lever-action, and semi-auto alike, and their primers are non-corrosive to preserve a firearm.

A: Yes sir, this ammo should function correctly in all 44 Mag lever-action firearms.

A: Thanks for reaching out Charlie! I have not personally tested this ammunition in a Desert Eagle, although I would expect it to function correctly.

A: Hi Richard! PMC reports this round's muzzle velocity at 1,497 fps for a 1,194 ft lbs muzzle energy. I regret that they did not include the test barrel length along with these data.
