This Serbian-made 6.5 Grendel ammo is just the right choice for target practice with any .264 cal AR build in your arsenal. Its bullet consists of a lead core and copper-alloy jacket – nothing that could attract a magnet. The FMJBT’s tapered base helps it create less drag as it courses toward its target – the reason why its ballistic coefficient sits at a respectable G7 0.205 (G1 0.407). No coyote or other predator is going to speak highly of the FMJBT, but take care that its inability to deliver terminal expansion means it is a poor choice for deer hunting.
Prvi Partizan adorns each highly standardized bullet with its own precision drawn and tapered reloadable brass case, as well as a noncorrosive Boxer primer and clean-burning propellant charge to send its FMJBT on its way. Prvi Partizan recorded this round’s 2,756 fps muzzle velocity with a 24” barrel, so expect a little less juice if your AR’s barrel is shorter.
