The Minnesotan manufacturer makes Black Pack ammo with quality yet economical components to give you the best of both worlds. This round sports a 95 grain bullet with a uniform lead core and carefully drawn copper jacket, letting it maintain its course straight downrange. A full metal jacketed projectile will not expand or otherwise deform in any significant way as it burrows through a soft target, so only use this ammo for self-defense if you’re in a real pinch. (A home invader would be thoroughly nonplussed to take four or five 95 grain FMJs to the chest, needless to say.)
These rounds’ bullet profiles are optimized to promote seamless feeding in a semi-automatic, and their exactly formed brass shell casings help them to feed even more dependably. Federal’s top notch primers and propellant don’t deposit corrosive residues in a firearm once ignited!
