This is for the shooter looking for bulk ammo: A 1000 round case lot purchase of the proven 10mm Auto which offers heavy ballistic performance with significant power on target. This cartridge is meant primarily as a training round to lessen the cost of doing business with the 10mm ammunition- which is notorious for providing a steep cost of entry in tthe guns, as they have to be overengineered to handle the additional pressure an recoil, and the extreme cost of normal mainstream ammunition, especially in the personal defense market. CCI has achieved an excellent per shot cost with the Blazer line for the 10mm Auto.
Blazer ammunition has been around for decades, and it has grown its fan base exponentially over the years because you get legitimate performance out of the rounds and for those who are not going to reload anyway, you can realize legitimate savings instead of stockpiling spent brass as well. It’s not for everyone, especially those who have dialed in their costs of remanufacturing/reloading their 10mm to a small cost; and those who need to practice with hollow point ammunition. For everyone else, these are a great choice.
The Blazer name is credible; the ammunition offers high performance, low cost of entry and an excellent feeding and functionality record.

This in addition to being more precise, smaller groups, and reliable feeding, is much much cheaper than other US made 10 mm ammo. In fact, this is probably the cheapest US made 10 mm x practice.
Of course, this at the expense that they are not re-loadable cases. (Posted on 2/20/13)
