This ammo has a fairly strong recoil and hurls 9-00 buck pellets out of the muzzle at approximately 1,325 feet per second. This ammo features a star crimp unlike some less expensive products which use a roll crimp. Shotgun ammo is a little odd in that the length measurement of 2-3/4" is after the round has been fired. So, unfired rounds have slightly different lengths and roll crimped shells can reduce the carrying capacity in your tube on occasion.
