This 250-shell case is an
excellent choice for shotgun owners who like to spend a lot of time on the
range or in the field. Part of Federal’s Power-shok hunting line, these shells
fire nine 00 buck pellets at 1,325 feet per second, producing enough power to
take most game at short to medium ranges. Federal’s premium buffers and spiral
loading system further augment the shell’s accuracy and knockdown capabilities.
Each case holds 50 five-round boxes.

I'm not an old hand at buying ammunition online, but BulkAmmo makes it easy, provides a buying experience that is easy and open, and delivers when they say they will.
One of the things that led me to buy from BulkAmmo over their competitors was their checkout process that allowed me to know all charges (shipping, etc.) before I gave any personal data. I had already decided to buy when I entered anything that could be used to spam me or even store anything about me. That's as important to me as price. That said they trusted me with the buying decision. I then trusted them with the sale.
Their reputation is good and I can say it's as good as it seems.
As far as the ammunition, I like Federal a lot and they carry my favorites. I'll be buying more in the future. I can recommend BulkAmmo by this one experience and hope they maintain their standards.
(I don't know if I would give any ammunition a 5-star performance rating unless I loaded it myself and spent far more time and money than anyone who loads production ammunition. Q: Does this load use a shot cup or just a wad?

A: Thanks for reaching out Paul! This shell has Federal's Triple Plus wad system. It's a two-piece wad column that has an overpowder gas seal with a compressible center hollow post and a plastic shot cup with four slits.
Q: Do these shells have any problems cycling through a semi automatic?

A: Thanks for reaching out Mark! I cannot guarantee any kind of performance from a shotgun I have not personally tested. That said, I've not encountered any complaints of this ammo's functionality in a semi-auto, and its 1,325 fps MV and ~1.1oz. shot column should certainly generate sufficient chamber pressure to fully cycle a semi-auto. To be certain, this is full-recoil ammo – not the low-recoil stuff which frequently poses complications. I hope you find its performance satisfactory!

A: Yes indeed, that's a hearty pump-action that can cycle either 2-3/4" and 3" shells like clockwork. This ammo ought to give no functional 870 any issues whatsoever!
