Fast and hard hitting, if you don’t mind a slight increase in recoil, this is a great 12 gauge factory load for a very competitive price point for bulk shooting and training. This is a clays specific load that is best suited to fake birds but can be used in some cases for small upland game birds and small ground game. The sweet spot for this load is fast moving clays in short ranges with a need for a legitimate velocity payload that can easily reach the target before it goes out of range, or for those who are early on the draw and want a fast moving, straight shooting shotshell for quick follow-ups.

It does have a heavy 3 dram powder equivalent and will be a bit much on recoil, for those shooting a ton of rounds each session, but it is definitely more performance oriented for those who prefer a 1 ounce #8 payload out of a proven shotshell platform. The shells feature a low base, so they aren’t as easily reloadable as some other rounds due to some snags and deformations that will occur on the base. But they are so well priced, it more than makes up for the occasional damaged spent shell. The load will easily function in any production shotgun that is not dialed in too far one way or the other, to a very specific load on the end of the spectrum.
