Such is the case here: this is a #5 shot 1 7/8 ounce payload that should offer sufficient power out through to about 30 yards on most turkeys. The 3” Magnum load is built for excellent reliability in feeding and extraction in the semi-automatics that are so popular now in turkey hunting, and the high brass base will assist in this matter.

The 10 shot box of shells is a perfect complement for a full season of hunting and maybe even more than one, depending on limits for birds in your area. This round is a sufficient load for the task at hand, and if it’s kept within reasonable distances (usually out to about 30-35 yards) in clear unobstructed conditions, the #5 shot will perform well.

The hull is reloadable for those that prefer to save their magnum shells and the brass is premium on the high base. The crimp pattern is easily reworked so you get flawless reloads on most mainstream presses.
