Ammo Overview

Quantity - 5 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Federal Power Shok
Load - 2-3/4" Sabot Slug

This shell from Federal’s Power-shok line contains a one ounce sabot slug ideal for medium range hunting with a rifled shotgun, or a shotgun with a rifled choke. The slug leaves the muzzle at 1,500 feet per second and retains velocity of about 1,222 feet per second at 100 yards for versatile takedown power. The tapered sabot design ensures strong accuracy and extends the reach of your shotgun to rifle distances. Each box of this ammunition contains 5 shells. The slug delivers a muzzle energy of 2,189 foot pounds, so watch out for that recoil!

Federal Premium Ammunition’s Power-shok, Vital-shok, and Fusion lines are highly popular among hunters due to their effectiveness in taking down challenging game quickly and effectively. This hunting ammunition comes from the company’s facility in Anoka, Minnesota, which has operated since Federal’s founding in 1922. Federal also produces a variety of other cartridges at the Anoka plant including rimfire plinking rounds, HST and Hydra-shok self defense cartridges, and a wide variety of FMJ target rounds.
