These 12 gauge slug shells from Fiocchi can help you extend the reach of your shotgun without experiencing the heavy recoil often associated with other slugs. Each 2-3/4" shell in this case of 250 fires a one ounce slug at a muzzle velocity of 1,150 feet per second. While this reduced power also reduces the maximum effective range of the slug somewhat, it still provides the shooter with an extended-range capability far in excess of that available with buckshot.
