A substantial build quality and a light recoil profile gives this Fiocchi load a perfect harmony between a substantial small game or target load, and the kind of load you want to shoot in bulk. The great reliability and consistency offers very good velocity ranges and the ability to trust the shell in use in any kind of firearm, with semi-autos functioning very well with the high brass base and the stiff hull.
The composite hull is colored yellow to help you visually as you reach for rounds on hunts or in target scenarios. The moderate velocity offers good enough ballistics for the steel-based load to be efficient on smaller game at shorter ranges, say up to 35 yards or so and on animals sized up to about a coyote. But these rounds were really prupose built for using on clay pigeons and other targets you might more easily find on the range, and not in the field. The #7 shot is a 7/8 ounce steel based payload that gives adequate patterning, decent protection against wind deflection and a reactive shot style.
These shells are top quality, low recoil rounds that are reloadable after they are shot.
