Ammo Overview

Quantity - 25 shells per box
Manufacturer - Rio
Load - 2-3/4" #9 Shot

RIO Ammunition is a subsidiary of the Spanish explosives firm MAXAM, and was introduced to US shooters in 2002 with the opening of their state of the art production plant in Marshall, Texas. The quality of RIO’s ammunition is attributable to their totally integrated production chain, with which they oversee the creation of all their shotshell components from raw materials. Because of that, they have a thorough amount of control over their products’ quality -- and it certainly shows.

This 20 Gauge shell is loaded with one ounce of #9 lead shot. The approximately 585 .08” diameter pellets in this shell are on the smaller end of the spectrum when it comes to shot sizes, and as such are appropriate for taking smaller birds such as dove, woodcock, and early season quail. Along with this shell’s reliable primer, clean burning propellant, even spreading wad, and sturdy plastic hull, you’ll be perfectly equipped for upland game hunting this year.
