Details

A top rated upland game bird 20 gauge ammo offering by Fiocchi. This high speed 3”, 1 ¼ ounce shotshell with #7.5 shot is a big bang for the 20 gauge and offers a lot of impact for upland birds that you need a proper load for. The quality build of the Fiocchi 20 gauge shells is evident by a glance at the telltale yellow hulls and high base, but is plainly obvious the first time you take a covey of quail or chukar.

This high potency round offers excellent load delivery for the 20 gauge platform while still keeping it a bit more “sporting” than with a 12 gauge. The density of the shot pattern and the operating distances you’re capable of with this round are extended to a reasonable distance and result.

Fiocchi is a high quality manufacturer of ammunition across the board from rifle to pistol to shotgun, though they maintain an elevated status for their shotgun shells in their home country of Italy, where they enjoy a premium position for their shotgun offerings. It’s rarer that you see the full spectrum of the shotshell portfolio in the U.S.A., but the inclusion of this round seems to be signaling the coming of more for the producer. That’s good for the shotgunning community as Fiocchi’s quality and reliability are top notch and the cost to get in the game with Fiocchi branded ammunition is typically lower than competitors.
