These .22 LR cartridges from Winchester deliver excellent performance for varmint hunting and target shooting applications. Each 3,000 round case contains 6 boxes of 500 rounds each. This ammo comes packaged in wooden boxes that make a great impression as a gift!

Each cartridge in this case propels a light 36-grain copper plated bullet to a muzzle velocity of 1,280 feet per second. This ammo is classified as "high velocity," a type ideal for semi automatic firearms and varmint hunting. The fast moving hollow point bullet produces excellent fragmentation for lethal effect against rabbits, squirrels, and other small pest animals; a copper plating helps prevent excessive fouling and lead exposure.

Winchester ammo is loaded in Oxford, Mississippi; this product uses rimfire primed brass cases. Winchester is one of the top names in the US ammo industry, with roots dating back to the mid 19th century.
