Ammo Overview

Quantity - 100 rounds per box; 10 boxes per case
Manufacturer - Tula
Bullets - 62 grain full metal jacket (FMJ)
Casings - Berdan or Boxer primed steel

This case of 223 Remington ammo from Tula is perfect for range training, plinking, and "rainy day" storage. Each round is loaded with a bi-metal jacketed bullet, which provides excellent consistency and affordability. These bullets are full metal jacket, which is ideal for training usage, and is not optimal for hunting due to the lack of expansion in soft tissue. This ammo is also loaded using non-corrosive Berdan or Boxer primers and steel casings. This steel cased ammo is not reloadable, but provides a great savings for people who are not interested in reloading.

Tula ammo is manufactured at the Tula Cartridge Works facility, which is located south of Moscow. Tula has been producing quality ammunition since 1880. They specialize in manufacturing affordable, yet quality steel cased ammunition, and have fulfilled contracts with many private vendors as well as the Russian military. Order your case of ammo today, and have fun at the range!

A: Hello Loki, This Tula ammunition is loaded with a lead core, bi-metal jacketed projectile. The bi-metal jacket is created by layering copper and steel, then pressing it together. As a result, the projectile does contain steel and will not pass a magnet test.
