Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Federal Vital-Shok
Bullets - 62 grain trophy bonded tip
Casings - Boxer-primed nickel-plated brass

This 223 Rem cartridge by Federal Premium offers a 62 grain Trophy Bonded Tip projectile. This bullet’s robust bonding maximizes its weight retention, and its high-performance polymer tip gives it a flat trajectory, high accuracy, and ability to deliver superior energy on impact. This bullet further offers exterior skiving to facilitate expansion as well as a solid shank for penetration even through thick bone. This bullet also features a boat tail design, so its streamlined shape conveys better accuracy, a high ballistic coefficient, and some resistance against the influences of cross winds. In conjunction with its fast 3,050 fps muzzle velocity, there is little that this tech-laden bullet can’t accomplish.

This round further offers a brass casing with nickel plating that facilitates feeding and ejection, Federal’s reliable and responsive Gold Medal primer, and specially formulated propellant with copper-reducing additives. The sum of its features makes this round ideal for taking game at practically any range.
