Prvi Partizan has produced hunting and military cartridges since 1927. Based in Uzice, Serbia, the company operates three factories and employs almost one thousand people. The company exports ammo all over the world and has gained renown as a supplier of uncommon cartridges often neglected by other manufacturers. Privatized in 1998 after a long period of post-WWII government control, Prvi Partizan gets its name from the period of Nazi occupation during the war, when its equipment was used to clandestinely produce ammo for Yugoslav resistance fighters.
