A 200 round case of some of the finest deer hunting ammo ever made for the woods. The combination of the near perfect deer caliber (270 Win) with the longstanding value of the soft point Power-Shok projectile and the build quality of the Federal hunting lines of ammunition, and you get a strategically impressive intermediate game cartridge.

This is a great load for the .270 Winchester, especially in heavily wooded areas when going after deer sized game animals - where hunting is allowed still with lead ammunition. (Check your local and state laws to ensure you do not need a leadless projectile). The reduction in the sharpness on the tip of the projectile helps it travel through densely forested areas without the same deflection concerns that hunters might have with traditional projectile profiles. The large 150 grain soft point bullet also has sufficient mass to keep wind deflection to a minimum, despite the reduced ballistic coefficient of the soft point profile.

Federal has loaded this projectile into a brass casing with a Boxer primer, to make it easily reloadable for the hand loaders; and at the price point, it is an excellent value relative to other premium peers in the market.

A: That could vary wildly. You could probably feed yourself for years if you made every round in a 20rd box count. Can you do that? On the other hand, if you're not a very good shot, and you also plan on confronting post-apocalyptic biker gangs, you might need thousands of rounds.
