You don’t have to wear a furry hat to enjoy this .308 ammo. This Silver Bear ammo is manufactured at the Barnaul plant in Russia. It derives its name from the highly polished zinc plated steel casings they use. The casings have this zinc plating to prevent corrosion and it also improves the shelf life of the rounds. These rounds are perfect for plinking and practice and come at a fraction of the price of their brass counterparts.

These casings are non-reloadable; however, they are berdan-primed and non-corrosive. They are both economical and precision manufactured. The Barnaul plant in Russia is one of the largest suppliers of cartridges in Russia. They also ship on a regular basis to Europe, Asia and America. The entire Bear series of ammo has its own specialized characteristics. Silver Bear ammo has a zinc coating over the steel case. Brown Bear ammo has a lacquered coating over the steel casings to give it a brown appearance, and Golden Bear ammo is steel coated with Brass.

The history of the Bear Ammo Manufacturing and World War II is very interesting. If you’re a history buff, look it up! This company has been specializing in rifle and shot shells for decades and have a made quite a name for themselves. Give them a try!

This 145 grain Silver Bear 308 Winchester ammo comes with 20 rounds per box.
