Details
The Custom Competition bullet races through the air like it’s made of grease and lightning, and possibly also coated in cheetah drool. As it very well ought to. It’s Nosler’s premium match-grade hollow point boat tail!
Forget about terminal expansion. That’s not what the Custom Competition is designed to do. Its sole focus is on following the most precise and predictable trajectory as it’s able, which is why it features a:
• Narrow meplat (hollow point, because the lead core was injected through there)
• Jacket with essentially perfect concentricity
• Form-fitted lead-alloy core, which further enhances balance thanks to its rearward weight distribution
• Pronounced boat tail design, which does even more to improve stability, amplify velocity retention, and minimize the effects of wind drift
That heavy (and even more wind resistant because of it) 168 grain projectile has a G1 BC of 0.466. Fire it through a 24” barrel, and velocity ought to stay supersonic until approximately 1,115 yards!
