This ammo was manufactured around 20 years ago, but is still in great condition! We only received a small batch of this shipment, so if you were a huge fan of Federal's old packaging, hurry up and grab a case before we run out! This will probably be the last chance you ever have to buy this ammo

A hotter load than your run of the mill standard wadcutter range rounds, this is the “Law Enforcement” line of .38 special ammunition that has been historically used for qualifications by departments everywhere. It’s not +P status with the load level, but it’s a potent loadout. The lead wadcutter produced nice holes on target and the powder is slightly dirty, but the additional powder charge helps with reliability in a variety of firearms.

A standard 158 grain lead build means it’s utilizing the most proven and traditional heavy .38 Special loadout that exists and offers something for the purists. The lead being exposed obviously means there will be some additional cleanup but it isn’t significantly more than you already imagine. The velocity of 760 feet per second is a great mid-range speed for the .38 special, and translates to a hard hitting load downrange for those shooting steel or reactionary targets.

In all, this is a great utilitarian round that is made for shooting often in large range sessions and represents a good overall value for a round that has some added potency and moderate recoil. It is suitable for use in any .38 Special firearm.
