The Fiocchi Canned Heat .40 Caliber Smith and Wesson cartridge is optimized for exceptional performance from the bullet to the primer. They did this by using new, reloadable, non-corrosive Boxer primed, yellow brass cases. Each .40 caliber case has a specific powder volume for ideal shooting capabilities. These rounds are loaded with .40 Smith and Wesson 180 grain FMJ or Full Metal Jacket bullets that are wrapped in a copper jacket and have a one-piece lead core. They have a muzzle energy that hits with authority at 400-foot pounds. They also have a muzzle velocity report of 1000-feet per second.

These .40 S&W rounds come in 100 round cans, in a case of 10 cans, making a 1000 round case. These 1000 round cases are perfect to take along to the range with you for your Department Qualification Testing, for competition shooting, or for a wonderful day of pistol shooting with your family. No matter how you look at it, these rounds are suited for any training you want to or need to do. Get yourself a couple cases today.

The 40 caliber Smith and Wesson became a hit extremely fast in the Law Enforcement community. It quickly became the round Police Departments issued to their officers all over the USA. It was designed in 1990 using a downsized 10mm case and the 180 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point .40 caliber bullet. Smith & Wesson and Winchester joined up to make the cartridge that is used all over the US, the .40 caliber S&W.
