Ammo Overview

Quantity - 200 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Winchester (USA Brand)
Bullets - 165 grain full metal jacket, flat nose (FMJ-FN)
Casings - Boxer-primed brass

A cheap deal from Winchester and, this is a low recoiling, super reliable, proven round for range and target duty, with a low cost and reloadable brass. The 165 grain flat nose copper clad jacket is a great feeding projectile. There are myriad reasons that this load is a heavy value and an obvious choice for those who just want something to put down range.

It recoils less than comparable rounds but it is also slightly dirtier, so be aware that you’ll need to clean after most trips to the range. The Winchester White Box ammunition line has been a fantastic choice for decades, and this .40 S&W load is no exception. The full metal jacket projectile has the modified flat nose design that is a proven feeder in all .40 Smith & Wesson firearms, and the reliable component parts that Winchester selects makes this such an easy decision when trying to decide on a range load. The reliability is proven across the whole range of pistols that shoot .40S&W, and many carbines and conversions will also easily digest this round. It seems to eb well received in just about any firearm.

1050 feet per second and 410 ft. lbs. of energy at the muzzle for this moderate .40 S&W cartridge.
