Ammo Overview

Quantity - 50 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Federal Premium
Bullet - 165 grain jacketed hollow-point (JHP)
Casing - Boxer-primed brass

This 40 S&W cartridge by Federal was designed specifically for use by law enforcement professionals, but becomes available for purchase after sporadic government trade-ins. Don’t miss your chance to take this high performing round home for yourself!

This cartridge features a 165 grain Tactical Bonded jacketed hollow point bullet. That means its metal jacket is fused to its lead core, keeping the two soundly together during penetration to promote optimal weight retention during expansion. This bullet performs remarkably well in effect, resisting barriers such as clothing while providing the mushrooming damage needed to take down human-sized targets. It’s no wonder why the police choose this round for their pistols when everything is on the line.

This cartridge also offers a non-corrosive Boxer primed brass casing that offers a double value: It will age wonderfully nearly anywhere you keep it, and you may reload it multiple times to stretch your dollar.
