This top-quality .45 ACP ammunition is perfect for testing jacketed hollow points in your firearm. Self-defense shooters may also want to consider Federal's newest HST line for daily carry. Each box holds 50 rounds in reloadable Boxer-primed brass casings.

Federal Premium Ammunition produces a variety of range, military, hunting, and personal protection ammunition including the renowned Hydra-Shok, HST, Fusion, and Quick-Shok brands. The company produces its non-military ammo at a 175-acre facility in Anoka, Minnesota, where a team of nearly 1,400 people design and produce high quality cartridges. Federal was founded in 1922 by Charles L. Horn.

A: We have tested this ammo in a few 1911 pistols, including 1 from Rock Island, and have not experienced any malfunctions. It is always a good idea to test JHP ammo after a new gun has been broken in from the factory. This usually requires no more than 4 boxes of regular FMJ ammo.
