This ammunition has a 196 grain FMJ bullet, is Berdan primed, and is corrosive so make sure you clean up after shooting. Yugoslavian Surplus M49 ammo has a reputation for being pretty accurate, which makes it perfect for marksmanship training. The price makes it great for plinking with friends as well. These are military surplus brass cased rounds so they've got beautiful annealing on them. Also, this current find has manufacture dates running from the late 1970's to the early 1980's.

The 8mm Mauser (also known as 7.92x57mm) came into use when it was adopted by the German Empire in 1905, and saw service in both world wars. It is still a popular hunting round today, and is factory produced in the United States and in Europe.
Note: This ammunition is corrosive, so make sure you clean your firearm after every trip to the range.
