These lightweight 9mm Luger loads from Fiocchi are ideal for IDPA matches, occasional practice, or long term storage. Perfecta ammo is made using the quality components that Fiocchi is known for and subjected to stringent inspection practices. Fiocchi's position in Lecco, Italy allows them to maintain close relationships with top-level competitive shooters and influential firearms manufacturers. This experience, combined with over 140 years of refinement, grants them unparalleled insight into shooters' needs.
Each round fires an 115-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile which aligns perfectly with common choices in 9x19mm; this translates to familiar trajectories, dependable cycling, and manageable recoil. The FMJ bullet's round nose and curved ogive grant it reliable feeding. Each projectile is crimped into a reloadable Boxer-primed brass casing.

Ive bought 4 cases of this ammo, to “practice” for competitive shooting. The ammo seems to run fine. Out of 4,000 rounds I haven’t had any issues. Other than this ammo is EXTREMELY DIRTY! I run this ammo is my sti 2011 steel master and my sti 2011 h.o.s.t tactical 4.0. (Posted on 12/18/2017)

I had written a review of this ammo sometime past and need to update that review. The ammo is okay for plinking but not reliable for competitive shooting. There are a few primer issues. I have had more then a few defective primers with this ammunition and have had to stop shooting it in competition. It's fine for practice but not for situation where reliability is a MUST. Just started shooting and purchased 1000 after reading the reviews. Every shot went off but not every one hit the target. I have a lot to learn about aiming but the ammo is great. I have put at least 1000 rounds of this ammunition through my Glocks (G17, G19, G34) without any problems at all. Range tested it with a chronograph and found the average velocity to be about 1347.4 FPS giving it a power factor of 154.95 (for all you competitive shooters). This ammunition is very reliable and is as clean as most ammunition is (no problem there). The one negative review on this sight just doesn't stand up to my experience with Fiocchi Perfecta. Carbon flakes flew into my face like I was in a coal mine, gases as noxious and irritating to the eye (felt like a canary in said coal mine), and frequent jams (in a Glock that has ate everything up to this point!). Great reliable ammo. I've out about 500 rounds through my ported M&P Shield without incident. It burns clean, it doesn't misfire. Performs just as well as more expensive ammo. Very reliable and shoots well. Was curious about an earlier review that claimed the ammo was shorter then some other brand he had so I put a micrometer on it and compared it to another 115 grain round from another manufacturer. The Fiocchi was .005 inches shorter which is next to nothing. All rounds vary by slight amounts. There are no performance issues with Fiocchi. (Posted on 5/3/2017)

A: Hi Denny,
All 115 grain rounds for 9mm count as "lightweight" even though that accounts for the majority of your inexpensive training rounds. Unfortunately Fiocchi hasn't posted any real data on their Perfecta product line line, so we don't have positive answer for you for velocity. The 115 gr FMJ under the normal Fiocchi packaging comes in at an advertised 1200 fps and we do not expect any difference with the Perfecta 9mm.
