MagTech’s answer to the sweeping green regulation that has hit the ammunition and sport shooting industries of late. This lead mitigation round is meant to get rid of the presence of hot lead and lead particulate at the position of the shooter, specifically in indoor ranges, but widely applicable after recent regulatory changes. On the surface it looks no different than your standard midrange FMJ 9mm Luger (9x19mm) target ammo.

A closer inspection of the projectile shows the bullet is fully encapsulated meaning that hot powder does not come in contact with bare lead at all. Furthermore, the ignition system that the primer employs is not using lead – a common component of most mainstream primers. All this makes for a better shooting experience if only just in the increase of peace of mind of the shooter. The lessened amount of particulate lead and the clean powder of this ammunition gives a noticeably cleaner shooting experience and helps keep your firearm cleaner.

There is no discernable discount of your performance numbers either, so the load will functionally operate in a vast array of mainstream firearms and will feed, fire and extract just as well as your other high quality range type rounds. The price is slightly higher, but that’s to be expected for a newer technology employing new style manufactured components.
