Looking to reduce the amount of noise you make on the range, or were you recently just able to go by your local gun shop and take possession of your new silencer? This is what Fiocchi has in mind with this 158 grain full metal jacket subsonic load. They have designed this with the intention of being as quiet as possible while shooting suppressed. There really isn't anything like being able to hear the sound of the subsonic projectile hit the dirt mound over the minimal noise that is produced when pairing a heavy subsonic load like this with a silencer. Depending on your elevation and other atmospheric conditions a traditional 147 grain load could potentially become supersonic, and this is why the 158 grain was produced by Fiocchi. By giving the round that extra weight, it will help it to stay under the super sonic barrier in any almost any condition.

Try this out if you are looking for something extra quiet to give your range experience a different feel!

Fiocchi was founded in the year 1877 as "Giulio Fiocchi Enterpriseā€ over in Italy. With a long tradition of ammo manufacturing, Fiocchi has become a household name among American civilian shooters. The company quickly grew to one of the leading ammo manufacturers in their industry. Today, they've expanded to include an American production facility and have one of the richest histories among companies in the gun world.
