Q: Will this scope fit a Ruger Hawkeye .22-250 ?
The Hawkeye has specific mounting points and some scopes can be mounted on a Hawkeye.

A: Thanks for reaching out EJ! I took a little while to get back to you because I wanted to get Ruger's take on the matter. Here's what they told me:
You should be able to use most scope as long as you make sure that you have the correct size scope rings. You need to make sure the tube size is the same as your rings and that they are high enough to prevent the lens from hitting the barrel or the bolt from hitting the scope. the Hawkeye firearms are shipped with a medium and a high ring for a 1" tube.
