Details

This is steel cased ammunition that is an excellent value for .308 Winchester shooters. Wolf is a good choice for those who want to save money on shooting for all-purpose or military style weapons that are not built for tight tolerances. The fine balance of properties in this cartridge makes it both a cheap choice and a versatile one.

.308 ammunition made specifically for military style weapons and thriving where tolerances are a bit looser than other guns and where accuracy is not the top importance for the shooter. This ammunition is accurate, but does not have a consistency or an accuracy at long ranges of more premium ammunition or the tight groupings of ammunition with more premium components and tighter quality control protocols.

Nevertheless, this bulk 308 ammunition is still a fine choice for plinking and general target use. Certainly it is suitable under specific tactical or hunting conditions but it is not purposefully built to satisfy such requirements.

The coated steel cartridge cases are Berdan primed; the steel material and the primer type makes it unrealistic to reload. The plated bullet is a FMJ style and may be suitable for use in hunting depending on your state laws. .308 ammunition for a bargain price that works exceptionally well in military style weapons.

A: No, the projectile is lead, and the jacketing is a bi-metal jacket, containing both steel and either some copper or zinc, which some ranges do not allow.

A: The bullets will attract a magnet as they do contain steel. Most indoor ranges will restrict these bullets. Some ranges will restrict steel casings or a combination of steel casings and bullets. It is important to check with your local range to know what is permitted, and what is not permitted. Most of our boxer primed brass ammunition are excellent choices for indoor range use.
