Details
Whether you want to be a better shot or just shoot more
bullets, Tula Cartridge Works is here to help. This 1,000 round case of Russian
ammo will work great in any SKS, AK, or 7.62x39mm bolt action rifle. Each
cartridge fires a 122 grain bimetal jacketed bullet at a velocity of 2,396 feet
per second. The rounds use non-corrosive Berdan primers and steel cases coated
in non-toxic polymer for reliable operation. Note that this ammo does have
magnetic properties due to the copper-steel jacket, so some indoor ranges may
not allow its use.
Tula Cartridge Works is a giant ammunition factory located south of Moscow in the city of Tula. TulAmmo brand cartridges, available in over 20 countries worldwide, are immensely popular for their low cost and overall reliability. The company exports over half a billion rounds to the US every year in major NATO and Warsaw Pact chamberings, a major contribution in fighting America’s chronic ammo shortage.

ive shot a couple hundreds rounds through my Vz58, no jams, not miss fires/ dummies.
only negative i felt was it seems pretty dirty running through my gun and need to pay attention to the copper build up. (Posted on 2/5/2015)

I have ran hundreds of rounds of this stuff through my wasr 10-63. I have never had a single jam or misfire. Needless to say, I would trust this ammo with my life. It may be a tad dirty but I clean my gun regularly anyways.

Went from high-school to 3 years Army, to 23 years Caifornia Highway Patrol. Was a rangemaster the last 10 years. Used this ammo now for several years, Always accurate, predictably reliable, and at a great price. In 7.62X39 I buy nothing else... and have several thousand rounds stored away. (Posted on 1/22/2014)

I have recently purchased a 1000 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm and the whole experience was flawless! Good price, excellent service, attentative customer service, a truly exceptional experience. I volunteer at a local shooting range and I have personally shared BulkAmmo.com with no less than 3 dozen shooters. I intend to buy all my ammo here, I can't re-load any cheaper than the prices offered at BulkAmmo.com.

Q: Do the bullets have a steel core? Are they magnetic? I cannot use steel core ammo at my local range.
Thank You
Posted On: 11/3/2011 By: Bill
A: This ammo does not have a steel core, but the bimetal jacket will attract a magnet.
Q: can you explain the casings to me? as compared to FMJ and what effect it will have on my AK47
Posted On: 5/16/2011 By: jay
A: The case is steel. The case material has no relationship to the bullet design.
You are able to safely fire this ammunition in an AK-47 that is chambered for the 7.62x39 cartridge.
