Winchester USA rounds come in many calibers and bullet designs. The Winchester USA White Box line is one of the most popular practice ammo products on the market today. Usually you see the 45 ACP Winchester USA White Box with the 230 grain size bullet, but these are the 185 grain bullet size. These 45 ACP Winchester rounds are the 185 grain size, and feature: full metal brass jackets over lead cores, high polished, reloadable, Boxer primed brass cases. These come packed in boxes of 50 rounds, in cases of 10 boxes for a grand total of 500 cartridges. A case of 500 rounds of 185 grain 45 ACP are a great buy for your armory, for target shooting, plinking, and competition shooting sports. These 185 grain rounds have a muzzle velocity of 910 feet per second, a muzzle energy of 340 foot pounds, and the bullet diameter is, of course, .451” in diameter.
The 45 ACP caliber has been around since it was designed by John Moses Browning in 1905 for demonstrating a Prototype Handgun he designed. A few years later, after multiple tests and redesigns, the 45 ACP and the 1911 were universally adopted by the US Military.
