Filled 3 clips. Thats 57 rounds out of my springfield 9mm 5.25 xdm.
In about a minute. Did that 3 times. And not once did this ammo jam/smoke/or anything. I will definitely repurchase this brand. Maybe the other reviewer got a bad batch. But I for one will be buying this again (Posted on 12/31/13)

I compete in "Practical Pistol" at our Gun Club (moving, multiple targets, mag changes, etc.). I shoot a Sig 228. I've fired this round exclusively for two years and haven't had a single misfire, double feed or failure to eject and haven't noticed excessive filth from the round. Maybe the Sig is an exceptionally operating pistol? (Posted on 5/19/13)

I tried 100 rounds of this stuff 37 failed to fire. Many others failed to eject. Very dirty leaves a tar like residue in the barrel and all over the firearm. Not to mention the sparks that fly out on the ones that do eject and cause burns on your hands. I will never even consider buying of even looking at this cheap dirt ammo. The result was the same in all four of my pistols. (Posted on 5/9/13)

Q: Does this ammo , steel nickel or aluminum cased ammo cause barrel damage in S & W Shield or Kimber 9MM Ultra Aegis II?

Posted On: 5/16/13 By: Shooter

A: While some may argue that steel or aluminum cased ammo may cause wear to the chamber of the barrel, we have been unable to find any evidence of this on any modern firearm. I would expect to see wearing of the barrel from normal use prior to damage of the chamber. This normal barrel wear may only be evident while shooting at greater distances after the gun has been fired in excess of 80,000 to 100,000 rounds. Like all pistols, one will prefer to perform better with some brands of ammo over another. I would suggest trying a few boxes of the Silver Bear to see how it performs for you and your pistols. Silver Bear, Brown Bear, Tula, and other steel cased pistol rounds we sell are loaded with non corrosive components. The nickel cased cartridge is a nickel coating over the traditional brass round. Shooters consider this more desirable as there is usually reduced friction during the loading process. This will increase reliability for cycling rounds and is one reason why you will find most self defense (JHP) ammo loaded in nickel casings.
