Look up “lead-free” in a dictionary and you will not see a photo of this ammo. That’s the dictionary’s shortcoming, because this ammo is as lead-free as it’s possible for ammo to be.
This round’s #8 shot? That’s HEVI-Bismuth, which is denser than steel – the reason why it hits harder when it’s traveling at the same velocity as the more popular non-lead shot. This round’s subsonic muzzle velocity and ~1/4 ounce shot payload won’t turn your revolver into a long-range pest destroyer, but it will work wonders on pests that have gotten too close to your “personal space.”
This round’s primer? That’s Federal Premium’s famed Catalyst, which is just as devoid of lead as it is antimony and barium.
