So here’s what we want to know. If you go on vacation to England, and manage to find the sword in the stone, and then use your superior American muscles to pull it out … do they have to make you the king?
We may never find out. But at least we can order Excalibur 9mm target ammunition to our homes – unlike the English, who have to register their nose hair clippers with their government.
This ammo is made in a much happier place than England: the Czech Republic, where STV Technology produces Excalibur and several other lines of products for warfare, law enforcement, and commercial sale.
STV doesn’t take a Russian approach to ammo production. Excalibur is all nonmagnetic, all the way, from its 124 grain lead/copper full metal jacket projectiles to its new and reloadable brass cases. Primers are noncorrosive Boxer. Proof standard is C.I.P., which is basically just the Euro version of SAAMI and no less suitable for American-made 9mm pistols.

Q: Is Excalibur ammo dirty?
Posted On: 4/4/2026 By: J Prezant
A: Hello J! It is loaded with modern smokeless double base propellant and noncorrosive primers. It should foul the handgun at about the same rate as any other conventional FMJ range ammunition, but I can't predict your personal experience with any accuracy.
