This BLACK label 223 Rem cartridge is loaded with a 62 grain full metal jacket projectile. It weighs the same as an M855 bullet, but its core doesn’t include a steel penetrator tip. The nonmagnetic bullet’s 3,100 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel gives it very similar (albeit not identical) ballistic performance to the M855 load.

Not familiar with M855 ammo? You don’t have to in order to appreciate this ammo. The slightly heavier 62 grain bullet will conserve more momentum downrange than any 55 grain equivalent, which will help protect its trajectory against wind drift. Perfect if you’re training outdoors!
