This ammo isn’t overpressure, but it sure acts like it! HyperSonic Bonded label 270 Win ammo features Remington’s own one-of-a-kind propellant blend, which pushes its 140 grain projectile up to 200 fps faster than other manufacturers’ average cartridges.
A faster bullet is a flatter-flying bullet. Once this round’s projectile hits its posted muzzle velocity of 2,975 fps, its 0.360 G1 BC will ensure that its trajectory to 200 yards rises a mere 1.7” above the bore line.
A faster bullet is a harder-hitting bullet, too. Expect to smack your target with over 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy at any point within 500 yards! The bullet is nothing to sneeze at, either. As Remington’s own Core-Lokt Bonded Ultra, it features the fused jacket and core that ensure virtually perfect weight retention, as well as the pointed soft point design which quickly kills big game with big terminal expansion.
