Classic cartridge – state-of-the-art projectile. That’s Federal Premium’s Terminal Ascent 30-06 ammunition in a nutshell. Fire this ammo when you want match grade accuracy and drop-dead stopping power at abnormally long distances!

The Terminal Ascent is quite the striking bullet. Its plated jacket is really only a cosmetic feature, but its sapphire-blue Slipstream polymer tip dramatically streamlines its frontal profile. The Terminal Ascent’s AccuChannel groove technology and boat tail reduce drag effectively enough to give the bullet a G1 0.520/G7 0.258 ballistic coefficient. That means extraordinary wind resistance, a flat trajectory, and almost 1,500 ft lbs of energy on impact at 500 yards. The Terminal Ascent is a bonded bullet, and accordingly capable of deep penetration even over shorter ranges. And if the bullet does collide head-on with a trophy, its Slipstream tip will initiate massive expansion.

Federal packages the Terminal Ascent with a nickel-plated brass case. It’s just as reloadable as any normal brass case, but also exhibits smoother cycling and enhanced resistance to corrosion. Made in Minnesota – where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.
