Some types of targets are more clever than others. They know to take cover once you’ve become aware of their presence in your home, and may otherwise shield themselves with any variety of barriers. Federal’s Tactical Bonded Tip projectile doesn’t give a fig about such tricks.

This 308 Win cartrdige’s 168 grain projectile has a bonded core and jacket that are virtually inseparable from one another, so passing through a barrier doesn’t deter it from ultimately penetrating very deeply. Steel and wall board only cost the Tactical Bonded Tip less than two percent of its total weight as it passes through them! Once the Tactical Bonded Tip enters its intended soft target, its strong polymer tip causes it to expand devastatingly, transferring jarring energy while establishing a nasty wound channel. You wouldn’t be short-handed if you only had such a bullet to hunt with, of course.

This round’s dauntless bullet is seated in a nickel plated brass casing, which does much to immunize the package against corrosion and jamming in a semi-automatic. Federal’s consistent propellant charge and surefire primer ensure you’ll get essentially the same ballistic performance and terminal effect out of every shot.
