Winchester loads this all-purpose 400 LGND medium game load with a 215 grain Power-Point bullet. The soft point’s round nose and semi-conic profile enable it to conserve about 57% of its muzzle energy at 150 yards – 1,379 ft lbs, which’ll bowl any deer or hog clean over with proper shot placement.
The Power-Point uses a tough copper jacket to secure deep penetration. The jacket’s strategic notching promotes a fuller and deadlier mushroom at the lower end of the velocity spectrum. Quick knockdown, so you can spend less time tracking and more time pretending not to be too impressed by your handiwork in front of your hunting buddies.
