This subsonic 5.56x45 ammunition isn’t capable of cycling a semi-automatic. A specialized upper receiver could theoretically do it, but we cannot promise cycling in any event.

This 5.56x45 cartridge’s power factor is 84.7 – only about 40% as much as an Mk 262 load (which shares the same 77 grain bullet weight). Such anemic power quite naturally limits the round’s range dramatically, and also makes its striking energy weaker than most 22 WMR ammo. Wow!

But dispensing with so much power is necessary if you want real subsonic muzzle velocity. That bullet hits 1,100 fps out of a 18” barrel – and emerges even slower from a shorter tube – so you can look forward to truly suppressor-friendly report with each squeeze.

This round is loaded with a Hornady OTM: accurate, albeit incapable of terminal expansion.
