20 Rounds of 6.8 SPC Ammo by Hornady BLACK - 110gr V-MAX

Out of Stock

Ammo Overview

Ammo Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Ammo Manufacturer - Hornady
Projectiles - 110 grain V-MAX
Ammo Casings - Boxer-primed brass

It doesn’t matter what kind of AR you’ve got -- a Hornady BLACK round will run through it like a charm. Even if they one day chamber a bolt action rifle in 6.8 SPC, you’ll find this round is perfectly up to the task owing to its versatile propellant charge, sure-fire primer, and high quality brass casing.

What this cartridge is specifically designed for is varmint hunting, because it showcases Hornady’s state of the art 110 grain V-MAX projectile. It’s a bullet that delivers the precision you need to take wary game far downrange, as its optimized bearing surface and swaged lead core give it exceptional in-flight stability, and its streamlined polymer tip generates only very little turbulence. That tip rests atop the rim of the V-MAX’s precisely drawn jacket and juts downward within a cavity formed in the core. Upon impact it dependably builds up the sort of great energy that leads to positively violent fragmentation. One would shudder to imagine the coyote, fox, or bobcat that couldn’t be toppled with one hit from a V-MAX.
