MAXXTech Steel Series NFR 7.62x39 ammunition! WOW! Let’s break that down into three easy pieces.
MAXXTech - An ammunition brand headquartered in the nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Steel Series - A nod to what makes this ammo easier on the old piggy bank. These rounds’ cases are made of steel, so you can avoid dropping coin on pricier brass. They aren’t reloadable, but they are polymer coated (benefits: corrosion resistance, reduced friction). You’ll also find steel inside those 123 grain full metal jackets, which is why you won’t be firing these rounds at ranges that forbid “magnetic” bullets.
NFR - “Not From Russia.” A great selling point, because the United States is, at the time of writing, five years into an import embargo of unknown duration.
Some people see Berdan primers and get all spooked. No need for such skittishness around MAXXTech ammunition, though! These rounds’ primers cannot corrode steel. Period.
