Regular old ball ammunition is fine and dandy for regular old target practice. But when you’re trying to set new personal records for long-distance shooting, you need something extra extra special. And as luck would have it, we just so happen to have extra extra special 223 Rem ammunition in stock!

PMC crowns their X-TAC Match series 223 round with a Sierra MatchKing 77 grain open tip match projectile. Its heavier weight bestows the OTM with extra resistance to wind deflection, so you can line up your shots more surely at a gusty rifle range. Its precision-drawn copper jacket and form-fitted lead core give the OTM far greater gyroscopic stability than a standard FMJ, which is why it conserves roughly 63% of its starting velocity all the way out to 500 yards (0.372 G1 BC; 20” test barrel). In short, this ammo is absolutely one of your best options when your only goal is to cover wide gaps between you and your targets!

The OTM isn’t a hunting bullet – it does not deliver any terminal expansion to speak of, and its thin jacket doesn’t facilitate deep penetration. We wouldn’t want to get shot with it, but we also wouldn’t recommend it for deer hunting, either. We would recommend PMC’s sterling brass cases for handloading, though. This ammo’s Missouri-made bullets are loaded in South Korea by one of the best companies in the game, and it’ll ship to your cabin fast as the blazes when you order it from BulkAmmo.com!
