Are you a varmint and/or predator hunter? Then Winchester’s Varmint X series 223 Rem ammo is designed specifically for bopping the little quarries you spend a significant amount of your life in pursuit of!

Can’t shoot a small critter without great accuracy. This round’s featherlight 40 grain bullet has a super high 3,600 fps muzzle velocity, and its sharp polymer tip only does more to ensure it sticks to a flat trajectory. Sure – a 223 bullet as light as this can’t effectively tackle the longest distances, but within a few hundred yards it might as well be laser-guided.

The polymer tipped bullet does its best work once it has found its target. Its tip rests evenly on the rim of the thin jacket and extends its tail into the center of the lead core. When it drives inward, it forces both the jacket and core to fragment apart and blow a massive hole into the quarry. The bullet’s penetration depth is too shallow for medium game, but its effect on thin-skinned varmints and predators is dramatic to say the least.

Winchester Varmint X series ammunition is loaded in the Land of the Free with top shelf brass, primers and powder. It’ll deliver the goods whether you’re hunting with a semi-auto, bolt-action or any other 5.56/223 rig you could name!
