The backwoods. The back fields. My back yard. It seems wherever I go, I’m surrounded by packs of ravenous coyotes hellbent on stealing my lunch. NOT TODAY, PUNK. I got my 22 Magnum (i.e. 22 WMR) rifle or pistol. I got my CCI Gamepoint ammunition. And I got full permission from the my government to blast any coyote hinder I see right on the spot.
Why is this round a good choice for de-coyote-fying the neighborhood, as well as whacking all kinds of other small game? Because it’s loaded with the dimple tip jacketed soft point, which is accurate, powerful, and designed to undergo terminal expansion just like a big game bullet. It tames small game through wide expansion and rapid energy transfer. It creates a small entry wound (0.22”, obviously), and is also unlikely to pass through the target, thus minimizing pelt damage in the process.
We know it’s not a real selling point, but hot dog do we ever love CCI’s clear plastic boxes. When they’re empty, you can use them to mold tiny bricks to make sandcastles.
